a bit late this year but would a GothiComp 2015 still be viable?

You could push all of the dates and deadlines back if it would help. There is no real conflict with the other painting competitions now. I might even enter with my renewed interest in the game.....

With the number of close proxies available (see proxies topic), I think the GothiComp still have years in front of it  ;D

For instance
You may try a Zeus or Helios Pattern cruiser from Resin Addict
or
Legion escort Squadron from OKB14

Likewise, I have just ordered a 500 point starter Tau fleet of a total of six ships..... and used 4 different companies for my proxies!  :P Shipping was expensive!

But, novemberrain, I might enter this year as I have renewed interest in BFG suddenly, so you are guaranteed not to come last!

Again I am not attending :'( , this have been some very bad years for my hobby. But I am probably coming back on 2016  ;).

Anyway if I fine some time I might paint some of my old ships.

also, what are the rules on entries again? am currently kit bashing/ scratch building some nids, am i ok to post them in the modelling section and enter them into gothicomp or do i need to wait til after gothicomp?
i think i am misremembering something that makes me think this?

Depending on the year and prices the rules are maximun one entry per category and categorys are about to be determined but usually you have, fleet, ship or little ships and one hit ship It is still not known. Just check other year gothicomps.
About posting it before usually It doesn't matter, but just wait to Horizon to answer, maybe this year is not ok  :o
