This summer I got back into the game I played 12 years ago, warmaster! Lots has happened since then, for starters the game is OOP and dead. Yet there are so many new armies and the community seems to be doing a wonderful job at keeping it all together! :)
So I stripped my old Undead and started repainting them, got 8 stands of bowmen and a tomb king done today, just glued the sand on the bases so that is yet to be painted :)

Still to paint:
2k Undead
2k Orcs and Goblins
2,5k Ogre Kingdoms
Lots to do! :)
-
good job with the skellies!
-
Yes, nice ! Welcome back home ! :)
-
Awesome sauce! Go Swedish WM scene!
-
Great to have another player, even if on the other side of the Earth :P
-
Always wonderful seeing people playing the game. =)
-
Agreed. Tomb Kings are at the top of the "a quick paint job looks good" pyramid. Nice stuff.
-
Nice! Keep it commin'!
-
Woah! Thanks a LOT People! I never expected this many answers in less than 24 hours :o
Things are moving forward, hopefully I'll have another three units of skeletons finished before the weekend :)

Whooop!
Awesome Flogger :D Us Swedes are happy to have found another player!
-
It seems that table had seen more than three warmaster units ;)
-
That's very true! I paint about 2-3 40k armies per year ;)
Skeleton warriors finished (but for basing).
Now I'm off to camp to take care of children for a week! So I'll see you guys next week :)

Woah those are gorgeous! Makes me wonder about the rules for tomb guard in warmaster :)
-
Very nice - good use of the ink wash.
I like the orange, not the first colour that springs to mind with undead but it really works!
Dave
-
Yep, orange is nice. And painting job is ok. Will you enhance the global aspect (sand tone) with an other colour ? Turquoise or something flashy ?
-
The sand will be painted to match our desert tables so will not be just regular sand.
I've been away for a week now so hopefully when I get home I'll have loads of stuff in the mailbox. A whole ogre kingdoms army for starters 8)
-
Ooh Ogres? From Russia with love or from America via Abomination? =D
-
Abomination! Don't know about the Russian ogres :)
My order is yet to arrive though, a little disappointed it's taking so long :(
-
Terrain is starting to take form for my desert table! :)
-
Oh, I love seeing desert terrain! I've was working on some but I need to get some new paint.
I got some of the Vallejo Desert Sand for it:

And some Fenris games resin rubble and Egyptian rubble to make smaller pieces. In addition I got some old Warhammer forest tree branches, which make perfect 10mm dead trees.
-
I have molded up some sphinxes and pillars but today I was working on the simple stuff like hills and trees :)

Hmmmm interesting. It makes me think that a game in the desert, with dunes everywhere, would be a very special game.
- Bowmen could not shot frequently.
- Units could hide behind dunes, so charging should be hard.
A sort of guerilla game... There is something to do here, boys !
-
Got some pyramids and I've also molded up some sphinxes and basecoated the bases of the trees as well as the hills :)

Also got some more undead in ::)

Great! Where are those little pyramids from?
-
The pyramids are awesome
-
Cool :D
-
Cheers guys!
Got them on eBay. http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&alt=web&id=181622027244&globalID=EBAY-US
-
Ah yes I was looking in the wrong part of eBay then.

I had my eye on the above ones. My thought was to get some Warhammer Khemri shields and put them around the sides to give them a fantasy flavour.
