Title: Torpedo Bombers
Post by: Xca|iber on August 18, 2015, 05:56:14 AM
Quick question: When I turn my torpedo bombers into torpedoes, does the salvo marker need to point in the same direction as the torpedo bomber was pointing, or can they fire off the torpedoes at something abeam/behind them?

Nobody knows? Or does my question just not make sense? I always assumed that ordnance has "directionality" to it in the sense that the pictures have a "front", and so the torpedo bombers would "fire" from that "front" area.

Does nobody use torpedo bombers at all? ;D

If you do, how do you play them when they're replaced by the salvo?

The BBB states "attack craft can turn freely and move in any direction, up to the distance indicated by their speed on the ship's profile." - pg 29

Basically bombers do not have a "heading" and therefore when replaced with the torpedo marker it's placed in the desired direction.

Ah interesting. That makes them much better.

Thanks!
