Ok, so a SM can block a GS entry area by being within six squares of it. But is that six squares up to the entry area, or six square to off the board, counting the move off the board as the sixth square? Also, do you count diagonally or not...
And GS blip conversion. When it says adjacent, is diagonally next to the square good enough, or does it have to be directly next as in the four cardinal compass points, etc...?
So far these are the only unclear things I've found about the rules, but then I've only played about four or five games...

I'd say six-squares counting the move off the board, as that's what 'Stealers have to do, and it makes it tougher for the marines. I would also count diagonally.

Again, unless someone can point to a page and correct me, I'd say diagonal counts.

I spoke with Andy on Sunday at Games Day, and apparently yes you do count diagonals for entry point distance and GS blip conversion placement. As to how many squares must there be between the SM and the entry area to block it, five squares including the last square before going off the board, with the SM standing in the 6th.
