Title: Space Hulk Suprise!
Post by: Angor on October 01, 2009, 01:29:24 AM
Okay this is actyually going to be a fairly bland log... Pretty much the same space hulk stuff that everyone has seena  million times before by now painted in pretty standard colour schemes.

Although I have recently raided carboot sale finds and friends old collections and ammassed about 30 old metal terminators which I hope to get painted up at some point. Working on an Imperial Fists squad to add some yellow to the place.

First of all its not even painted but I couldnt resist...

The models are 28mm exactly and it is only now that I realise basicguys in warhammer scale are more like 35mm. Well I still love them even if they are short, It makes genestealers look pretty terrifying. Helps to explain how bad ass they are in Close combat anyway!

Don't worry, Zaphod will take care of those bugs.

That's pretty cool, makes me want to get out my old Doctor Who figs and paint them up for use in a Space Hulk scenario.  ;D

And I haven't even finished cleaning up all my Terminators yet... ALmost there, just five more to go, then onto the objectives I think, then the 'stealers. I'll paint the Blood Angels before cleaning anything else up though, the push-fit works really well with the SH figures, too well in fact, they can be a right pain to take apart to clean after they've been put together to play with...

Anyway, I look forward to seeing 'Ford and Friends' with a splash of paint on them...
