Looking for a human General-type 10mm figure that is mounted on a rearing horse. I cannot seem to locate one - though I haven't looked through EVERY historical line, it sure seems like I have gone through quite a few.
It really doesnt matter what he is armored with, though less-than-plate would be preferable. I plan on using this for a few different human-style armies if I can...
Ideas?

I know there's definitely two High Elf generals on horses, not sure they're rearing up enough, though.

Bretonnian hero on pegasus is rearing. It's even standing on a piece of rock.
However, it might be hard to get ones hands on.

Ah good call, I forgot about that one!
The front rank of the Dark Elf Dark Rider command strip has a chap rearing up. In addition he is lightly armoured. But he has a very "fantasy" glaive and helmet.

Looking at the Bret Pegasus - it looks like a normal horse pose but placed on a rock at 45 degrees. So it might be possible to convert a moving horse figure fairly easily.
One of the High elf command figures is on a partly rearing horse. The commander in the rank of high elf spears is definately rearing, but might be hard work to extract. Both are fairly armoured.
The mounted empire wizard also looks a possibility.

I thought that for the storm of Chaos campaign GW also released a model of the Chaos general on a rearing horse. I cannot remember his name though. The model looks exactly like the 28 mm version.

Archaon!

That's Him. Off course it might to be difficult to get hold of him.

There's a similar, "normal" chaos hero in the bog-standard character pack.
Too heavily armoured I think.

Saw a post elsewhere with one of the Nazgul from the Copplestone 10mm range, looked to be a slightly rearing horse, the rider is mainly cloaked. I assume the figure is from the evil command pack. Might be worth checking out the good heroes too, lots of mounted figures in that pack.

was just going to suggest the copplestone stuff.... A few of the good heroes might pass for rearing with a little jiggery pokery :)
