Title: Is Fanatic Magazine worth it?

I have been collecting the Warmaster magazines on eBay and finding them worthwhile.

As Epic and Warmaster are the main games that I am interested in - is it worth it buying the Fanatic magazines as well?  It's the "last hurrah" for specialist games publishing before the move to online resources.  I am primarily interested in Warmaster articles.

I don't know. I had the same question few years ago and finaly did not bought them. But they might be usefull. Try catching oe or two on the net to see what is inside.

I like having the Fanatic magazines, but they're not worth it for Warmaster alone. For Warmaster and Epic I think they're ok- but a lot of what was in them has been updated and is available elsewhere (eg. Baran Siegemasters, Daemon lists, etc.). Of course, 'worth what?' is also important- sometimes you can pick the magazines up cheaply. eBay prices are probably too much.
