So how do you use your goblins?
Do you tend to sacrifice them while your more expensive units advance?
Or do you use them as ultra cheap support? Hiding them behind better troops reduces the chance of getting them destroyed keeping you away from break point.
Of course one could do both but interested in your thoughts?

They've got that nasty free shooting attack if you charge into them from the front, so they work well as anti cavalry "spikes" in front of Orcs. If you charge the gobbos and destroy them, chances are you've got wounds, then advancing into 12 attacks of Orcs isn't an appetising prospect!

Most of our Orc players use them as break points keepers (I mean infantry) placing them into dense terrain.

I use them as blockers enemy path when I want to prevent the attack of a expensive unit. That not allways happens. But I use to brigade them (120points), so I use them as a single unit.
Normally they end as Bel says, in the forest, or in the swamps, doing nothing but picking their nose or hurling stones each other and keeping the moral of the greenskins high (breakpoint).
But I have to say that in some battles, when thee action is near them I always try to attack, block retreats or do something with, them... they are so fun in a narrative way, that even a great fall or obliteration of the whole unit is fun. But there are actions not planned but spontanious.

Man when I get a greenskin army I would be so tempted to spam them and fill the board with them! That would have the advantage in that I can re-use them for a pure gobbo list too.

This is what our WM games see.
