and i loved this game!!! Used to bug my friend to play it all the time. i really liked the fact that  you could take Hot Wheels & Matchbox cars and customize them and use them in the game. Would love to get my hands on my old set back at my parent's house.  Always wanted to try converting it to MicroMachine scale so it could be played  on a table top instead of having to usse the entire livingroom floor to play it.

P.S.  i also have all the novels too.

I remember that game vs the carwars game. Dark Future always had more of a Mad Max / Judge Dread kinda feel, instead of being "clean" Sci-fi.

And yeah, the options to get some plastic (Aircraft, Heller etc) components and beef up my little brothers cars was an added bonus too  8). I dont remember needinge the living room floor .....  but we had some nice games on the (large) dinner table. Even revitalised this later, when I ran TNMHT & other Madness games that involved "moving" fights .....

Dark Future is one of those games that I regularly come close to breaking back out of the cupboard and giving it a go. It is just a really nice stand alone game that has aged pretty well. I should dig it out again....

considering the advancements in GW's plastic model sculpting, i would love for them to re-issue this game......
