Title: Sourcing foam board in the UK
Post by: industrialtrousers on February 09, 2017, 07:27:53 AM: Frequently on US terrain making sites they use pink or blue foam board which costs pittance. Where do you get that in the UK?
I got some similar stuff from Wickes but it has fibreglass thread running it. I've blue foam on eBay but it costs a great more than the prices commonly quoted from the U.S.

Post by: Lex on February 09, 2017, 09:25:15 AM: You need a Builders Supply (most DIY dont stock this) and you need to look for XPS (not EPS, which is the stuff that the wife will hate you working with in the home)

XPS comes in all sorts of nifty colours, most European sources are Blue, but there is orange, yellow and taupe stuff too.

Also you might check "roof insulation pannels", which is the fancy name it sometimes goes under.
