Hey Folks,
I strongly suspect that the GW "Studio Preview" event at Adepticon this Wednesday night will have some tidbits concerning the new edition of Titanicus.
Anyone from the forums attending?
-
Three of us from the northeast will be there. We might be playing at that point though.
-
I'd love to get the lowdown from a member of the Epic community - we're the folks that actually care, eh?
On the other hand, I think that playing the game pretty much trumps any other concerns ;)
-
No AT demo, it was Shadespire instead.
-
How did it look?
-
Disappointing that there was no AT material.
I guess we'll have to see what comes out in the April White Dwarf.
-
Shadespire was a small model count (3-5 per player) hex game. It has elements from their miniature games and a strategic card game. You activate a model and then your opponent does the same, move/attack/charge(one per turn). You then get to play a card and your opponent does too. The minis looked cool. There was a lady Stormcast and a guy without a helm. Bloodborn had some nice sculpts.

Looks like the Titanicus material was pulled from April's White Dwarf.
Rumor has it that they're having issues fitting it into the release schedule with so much else going on.
Looks like we'll have to be patient for a while.
