Title: Great Wall inspiration - size of Kallistra Koreans?
Post by: GrumpyOldMan on March 21, 2017, 10:52:36 PM
Hi

Being inspired by the Great Wall movie I was thinking of making a Cathay army. I was looking at figures and I was wondering if anybody could tell me size comparisons for the Kallistra Koreans. I know Kallistra are the bigliest of the bigly but are these too far over the top as far as size goes?

Which is the samurai from Kallistra.

I have Kallistra orcs and they're fine mixed with other manufacturers, but it's not really a concern with Greenskins.

Having just measured those exact minis, they are 12mm from foot to eyeline or 15mm to top of hat.
Pics here but not comparative ones I'm afraid

Overall they don't look too bad alongside the Eureka Chinese, but I wouldn't mix the units.

Hello

empireaddict - Thanks for the reply and photos, nice army :).

They look like they would be alright but not to mix with the smaller ranges like Eureka or Pendraken historical.

Will now have to sit down and work out other bits and bobs.

Anybody have any pointers on whether Magister Militum or Newline Chariots would be more compatible - size wise? Or maybe the Pendraken scythed chariot with the scythes removed....

Cheers
