The next TriWiz tournament will take place in Saffron Walden on Saturday 11 November 2017. So please put the date in your diary.
The likelihood is that the games will be singles but with the option of using Mercenaries, we will use a 1 to 4 point scoring system, and – depending on the outcome of future playtesting – a clock system of some kind. Regarding the latter, it will definitely not be a ‘death-clock’, ie. automatic loss if you time-out.
The current iteration of the Trial Allies & Mercenaries rules can be found here http://www.forum.specialist-arms.com/index.php?topic=8746.0

Tournament confirmed and details just sent out to those on the mailing list. Scoring will be 1 to 5 and we'll be using 'soft clocks' (no automatic loss) and players will have option of using mercenaries. PM me if you're not on the mailing list and want to participate in this or future Saffron Walden tournaments.

I'm thinking of doing Empire with Ogre mercenaries. (Heavy Infantry FTW).
I can take 4 units of Ogres and an Ogre hero in 500 pts!
Hooray, I get to use my new Ogres from Black Gate miniatures.
Ogres and Cannon - very nice!
Looking forward to it.
