Those are perfect, they aren't the classic grandma Wendy style for nid ships but they fit the bill perfectly for a space faring gribbly eat your stuff parasitic race.

I do think they do proxy tyranids ships perfectly well

This latest one would be a queen hiveship/spacehulk in BFG size
