Hey all, I'm putting together a Necron list for a game, and I have a hard time deciding what to do:
1 extra reroll
[550] Tombship - sepulchre
[275] Scythe
[155] Shroud
[155] Shroud
[80] 2 Dirges
or
1 extra reroll
[550] Tombship - sepulchre
[275] Scythe
[275] Scythe
[120] 3 Dirges
I feel like Shrouds are undervalued, especially with Necrons' crappy Ld. I was thinking taking the pair in a squadron would allow me to nip them along the flank to hit the enemy rear with FP20, while taking the brunt on the mainline ships.
Thoughts?

I can't give you "proven" advice; i don't play necrons.
But i think the Scythe is superior (=more cost efficent) to the Shroud, both on offense and defense.
You should take one for the +ld bonus and try to squeeze in another scythe instead.
Yes, i have seen that there are not enough points left to do this if you want to keep the Sepulchre.
If you want to get behind the enemy like you described, i would suggest more Dirges instead of a second Shroud to get more firepower - defense is less important if you rely on not taking hits with these ships (and its debatable if a single Shroud could take more fire when things go wrong than 4 Dirges).

I would use the second list and swap the Tombship for a Shroud and escorts. Just to swarm enemies a bit more with all that speed.
