I'm thinking of converting BOFA to Warmaster Ancients (in terms of points) and I've come across something I'd like some other opinions on.
I'm going to go the whole hog, but all cavalry in BOFA so far is shock, including what should be skirmish cavalry. What points would you use to convert something like Wargs, which would be 55-60 points in WMA facing the long base edge, to shock cavalry?
I'd point them at 80 myself. Opinions?
And what about things like Wolf riders? Logically they should be skirmish cavalry with 2 attacks/shots 15cm 3 hits 6+ save skirmish for 60 points, but again, they're shock? +20 points to make them shock?
The only other unit I'm having difficulty with is Wizards, but I think just porting them over with costs as is might work fine.
Has anyone else tried this before?

It seems lots of fun converting one system to another, but I had to say that I did not ever think it very serously, neither palytest my ideas. So, I will not have too much to share.
By the way, the threat seems interesting for me , and it will be a pleasure read your ideas.
One of the problems I see of translating BOTFA to WMA is the generals. I BOTFA the general is just an upgrade, since in WMA it has a variety of points choices.

As I understand BOFA is very similar to WM, so why completely combine the two, if you could just add some WMA rules.
Like the support rule, 2 command limit, 2 combat rounds, skirmishers and so on.
