Title: [WM] Epicast/Micro Art bases?
Post by: Haranin on December 14, 2009, 03:39:14 PM
Slowly working through the first units of my Dwarves... starting to get close to needing to start basing the army.

Rummaging through my bits boxes I realized I sold off all my 40k stuff, including all of my round bases.

Making a positive out of having to get some more, before I shake down the local 40k gamers, has anyone used the epicast or micro art bases (20-30mm) for warmaster command units?

Some of the slate, flagstone and cobblestone ones look like they might work well; as well as the 30mm intended for warmachine.

I normaly use obsolte coinage for command bases.....  which ranges in all sorts of sizes. Alternativy, get some washers, flippos or (poker)chips......

Likewise, well except the obsolete bit. I use 1p and 2p coins, just ensuring that I put the figures on the 'tails' side so as not to open myself up to charges of treason...
