I have painted a High Elf army, an Undead army, an Empire army, an Orc army, a Dwarf army and a Chaos army. I painted those years ago when I was able to play more often than I can now. I'm getting back to Warmaster because I realize how much I really like the rules. I've been able to find some folks near me who are still willing to play, and I am trying to revive interest at my hobby store.
I love the Demon army miniatures. I want to do a Demon army for all 4 Chaos powers, but I can't stand Nurgle. So I decided on a different theme instead. I've decided to do a Cthulu-based demon army. The more I thought about it, the more I wanted to do it. So I thought I would join the Tale and get going on the project.
I will be re-purposing some miniatures. I've got some Call of Cthulu miniatures from Rafm, some Epic scale Tyranids, and my Demon Overlord is from Reaper. Some miniatures I will be making from scratch.
My army will start with:
1 Overlord
1 Lord
1 Greater Demon
1 unit Demon Beasts
1 unit Demon Flyers
It's not a legal army for playing, but it is where my imagination is at the moment. I am also thinking about how to do Demon swarms, and I want the swarms to represent "the crawling chaos", a phrase from Lovecraft's writing.
I will post pictures once I have the initial conversions done. Right now I am converting a Reaper Bthalian Exarch to be my Demon Overlord. I am working on the Greater Demon as well, which will be a conversion of the Elder Thing form Rafm. The Demon Lord will be made from a spare piece of the Elder Thing.
The Demon beasts will be Epic scale Trygons -- at least I think that's what they are. I lost the blister ages ago but managed to keep the figures. The Demon Flyers will be altered Rippers from the Necromunda range.
Pictures soon!
-
These are not painted, but the conversions are done.
My Overlord, Malhthulu:
He is missing the metal Gargoyle wings (from a 40K Tryanid flyer) that I really want to put on him. I know I have them, but I've moved twice since I last knew where they are. And so far my searches have not uncovered the wings.
I like the multiple eyes and tentacles. I positioned the tentacles. The body is so-so, but sometimes I have visions of just the upper torso floating in air. So who knows if he's really done or not.
Greater Demon: A Demon from the Outer Dark
This is a Rafm Elder Thing that has been converted. I wanted a taller greater daemon, so I decided it needed to float in the air. It has 5 tentacles, plus a number of smaller tentacles that seem to be used for ripping flesh from mortals. I put a running Empire handgunner fleeing the daemon. To me though, the figure doesn't look terrified. So he might come out. In back of the daemon is a skeleton. I will add weapon and arour bits later.

Daemon Lord: The Watcher in the Sky
Since I didn't use the base of the Elder Thing, I naturally used it for something. I thought it would be cool to have a daemon floating in the sky. The Eye covers the hole that the Elder Thing would sit into. I repositioned the limbs. Still working on the base. However, I really like this thing.
Demon Beasts:
These are Epic Tyranid Trygons. I confirmed this when I found the blister that they came it. I just assembled these guys and put them on a Warmaster base.
Demon Swarm possibilities:
Here are 3 ideas i came up with for the demon swarm. I sculpted these with some leftover greenstuff. I like the variant lablled 3, since they are more worm like. But I wanted to see what the rest of you thought was the best of the three. These are greenstuff that I painted white, washed black, then painted black around the base to make the swarm stand out. I was worried that the swarm might not show up well enough to be photographed. Oh, and they are all facing in the same direction.
As you can see, #3 is fairly flat. #2 is has some dimensionality to it. #1 has tentacles as high as an infantry man.
So that's what I have. I darned sight more than I had before. Next i need to finish the bases and get painting! Oh, and find those darned wings...
-
Did you check out the Skaven ratswarms ??
Personaly for swarm I would go with a combination of 2 and (mostly) 3. Use some "other" stuff to add heigth variation. Think an overrun cart or canon, bits of tree left by the all devouring swarms, skellies on the trailing edge. And by mixing in some #2 sculpts you create an identifiable centre stand (not that that is needed, but I know most of us seem to do that anyway 8)
-
Wow, I knew I was going to like this army, but this is great ;D
I love all your current stuff they are very thematic so keep up the good work.
As for the swarms I would go with all 3 and mix and match them.
Then do as Lex has suggested with the destroyed cannons and the like.
Although you could always go for the rat swarm idea, I believe HPL mentioned them a few times in his stories.
Looking forward to the next installment.
-
First up, bloody nice conversions, etc... And to save myself the effort of clicking reply and doing some typing in the general section, your existing stuff is bloody nice as well. It's actually making me want to hunt down some HPL books, I've never actually read any of his work as far as I am aware...
Anyway, as to this:
Then do as Lex has suggested with the destroyed cannons and the like.
To do this I'd suggest trying to get your hands on some of the Warmaster Casualty markers. I suspect that this is what Lex had in mind, as from looking at his Dwarf Rangers, he seems to have used these in the centre of his bases to show enemy casualties, etc... There is IIRC a Dwarf cannon and crew somewhere in the collection...
-
Thanks for the positive comments everyone!
Lex, I have some Skaven rat swarms. I'll take a look and see if they might fit the bill. HPL does mention rats, so some rats and skeltons and corpses would look suitably creepy.
I like the idea of having the swarm crawling over ruined cannons and corpses. I was thinking just skeletons, but the ruined cannons would look cool!
I think I will mix in some of the larger crawlies with the littler crawlies.
It just occurred to me that this might be an odd choice of army, so close to Christmas...
-
Just noticed this thread - haven't been on here for awhile.
I sculpted a swarm for my Slaanesh Daemons that may suit you or could form a base model - add some tentacles and that.
have a look at them here:
Painted http://s6.photobucket.com/albums/y244/davejc/Warmaster/Daemons/?action=view¤t=Slannswarm.jpg (http://s6.photobucket.com/albums/y244/davejc/Warmaster/Daemons/?action=view¤t=Slannswarm.jpg)
Unpainted http://s6.photobucket.com/albums/y244/davejc/Warmaster/Daemons/?action=view¤t=IMG_0495.jpg (http://s6.photobucket.com/albums/y244/davejc/Warmaster/Daemons/?action=view¤t=IMG_0495.jpg)
I have a mold for them and can cast them in metal. The swarm is half the base size and there are 6 identical pieces. If your interested PM me.

Already pointed him your way Dave :D

Hey buddy. For a long time I have wanted an excuse for a Lovecraftian Army. Yours looks great.
It would be cool for your flyers to go for Nightgaunts as they are one of the most iconic Lovecraft creatures now. Also It would be awesome to squeeze in some fishmen. There are quite a few of his books that involve them. Pendraken do a nice range of 15mm fishmen theat would be pretty chunky in warmaster. The size of trolls, but they would work well thematically with the army.
http://www.btinternet.com/~alan.catherine/wargames/fish1.jpg
Oh and they are areally really cheap!
http://www.pendraken.co.uk/sub%20page/fishmen.htm
-
Azarael, DaveC, thanks. I've contacted DaveC and will ask for some of those deamon units soon.
Angor, thanks for pointing me to Pendraken. After several hours of searching for photos, I found that the Pendraken 10mm SciFi Aliens look creepy enough for deamon hordes. However, they are easily identifyiable with the creatures from the movie series Alien, so I decided not to get those. I may revisit this decision after trying to sculpt my own 10mm deamons. Also, the Pendraken face huggers make a good start toward swarms, and Pendraken has a "bugs and worms" 10mm sci-fi offering that could help fill a swarm as well.
The Nightgaunt for flyers is a good idea that I will keep in mind. I was thinking about doing a unit of Flying Polyps, mostly because of the super funny fake ad on YouTube (search for "Elder Sign"). The flyers I made by converting the Ripper swarm are done, now I need to base them.
As for Fishmen: You have hit upon the same puzzle I faced when I first thought about the army. I wanted Deep Ones as the demon horde, but in the end I decided against it. My reasoning is that the Deep Ones, no matter how unsettling they are, are mortal creatures. If I were to do a Cthulu-based mortal army, I would definitely put in the fishmen some where.
I also thought about including cultists. I decided against them as well because they are mortal. This is too bad because the Empire Flagellents would make great cultists.
Eureka has some great looking demons -- in 28mm.
I have some 30gauge florists wire, and started making armatures last night. This afternoon I will make some attempts at daemon horde figs. If this goes well, I will need to find a way to cast these things up.

DaveC or Bel may be able to help you there !
-
You could use the hounds of Khorne and cut their "collar ruffs" off to make a unit of Cthulhu 'Hounds of Tindalos'?
Shambling horror (is this the right name for it - or is it a dimensional shambler?) could be represented by the bog creatures from the Albion range?
Just another couple of ideas for units.

Here is a useful link for imagery from over on the Arkham Horror site.

Hope this helps.

Here's an update.
Malhthulu (Daemon General) with wings!
Piper of Blasphemous Melodies (Daemon Lord)
Mi-Go (Daemon Flyers)
These are converted from the Necromunda Ripper Jacks. They have 3 tentacles facing forward (sensor tentacles) and five around the mouth, hanging down. I used clear acrylic rod as the support. To emphasize the chaotic nature of these beasts, they are all at odd angles to the ground. One is diving on some prey.
(http://i346.photobucket.com/albums/p435/BlackTemplarDad/Black%20Templar/Warmaster/Demon%20Army/DSC_0009.jpg)(http://i346.photobucket.com/albums/p435/BlackTemplarDad/Black%20Templar/Warmaster/Demon%20Army/DSC_0008.jpg)(http://i346.photobucket.com/albums/p435/BlackTemplarDad/Black%20Templar/Warmaster/Demon%20Army/DSC_0010.jpg)
Army Shot!

Daemon Hordes test sculpts.
Daemon host after beheading the Chaos marauders:
(http://i346.photobucket.com/albums/p435/BlackTemplarDad/Black%20Templar/Warmaster/Demon%20Army/DSC_0014.jpg)(http://i346.photobucket.com/albums/p435/BlackTemplarDad/Black%20Templar/Warmaster/Demon%20Army/DSC_0013.jpg)
These daemons are OK, but something bothers me about daemons with weapons and shields. They were easy to do though.
Some wild and crazy ideas:
I do not like these test sculpts. After looking at the art work at the Arkham Horror site (thanks for the link Azrael!), I am thinking about Fishmen (or Deep Ones) again. As a whole, there isn't a feel of cohesiveness. If I did the fishmen, there would be a theme to the hordes that would make them look right. In the top shot, the figure second from the left started as a skeleton bowman (GW) before I clipped away an arm, the head, and the quiver on the back. The figure is closest to 10mm in height. That will give you an idea of the size of the others.
So, as far as the daemon hordes go, there are still some possiblities that I will check on from Pendraken. Does anyone know of a US distributor for Pendraken? And I will see about sculpting up some fishmen.

These look sweet :-*
I am watching this army with interest :)
Are you based in the UK?
If so are you going to the winter warmer in a couple of weeks?
-
I'm the US, in New Hampshire. I live about an hour's drive from Boston Massachusetts, which has an international airport.
I had considered going to the Warmaster Warmer, but the airfare and lodging costs are not in the budget right now. My company had layoffs yesterday, and I still have a 5% paycut. I'm still employed, which is a good thing.
I still want to attend a Warmaster gathering of some sort. I am not sure if there are any events happening in North America. If the time was right and the money was OK, I would be able to travel to the UK or further into Europe.
Where are you, Azrael?
-
There seems to be a lot of Warmaster in Texas IIRC. You should probably join the Yahoo-Group as that seems to be the medium by which much of the US crowd disseminate event info, etc...
-
Ed
consider EuroGT weekend in March ! that is 2+ days of Warmaster fun in a normaly great location, this years Get Together (GT is NOT a Grand Tournament, but a more social event) will be in Austria !
Lex
-
I feel your pain mate.
I am in Sheffield, UK.
If it wasn't 45 minutes to Nottingham, I would be struggling to go (may still be with the weather, we have had snow in Winter, how freaky is that ;D).
I wanted to go to the euro gt this year but my budget doesn't stretch to that (too may armies to buy for stupid painting contests ::) :P)
If you are ever over here drop me a mail and you can come up for a game :)
I'll even lend you an army to save an your baggage costs ;)
-
Lex, I wish I could come to this year's Euro GT. It would be nice to meet you folks face to face.
Azrael, if I get the the UK I will certainly let you know. It would be great to get together for a game. And likewise, let me know if you get out this way, and we'll set up a game.
Stomm, thanks for the reminder. I'm a member there also, but I haven't checked that site recently due to the lack of activity. I just assumed everyone moved over to this site.
I will contact Pendraken over the weekend to see if I can get some photos of the Dungeon Monsters. And the Warstore to see if they are carrying the ones I'm interested in.
Thanks all! I appreciate the comments and suggestions!
-
What part of NH, BlackEd? I have cousins, near Concord, and try to make it up there a couple times a year.
I think I recall seeing that TheWarstore was building stock on its 10mm Pendrakens -- I've had good luck with Pendraken Sci-Fi Aliens.
-
Planning to visit my folks in Maine this summer - NH isn't that far...
-
I'm a few minutes from Manchester NH. If that's not too far out of your way, Haraninn & Carrington, then PM me with some contact info. We'll set something up!
-
I did not finish painting everything. I did not finish the bases either. The bases are just painted. Nevertheless, here is what I have.
First up, the Daemon Overlord and the two Daemon Lords:
Next up, The Mi-Go, daemon flyers:
Now the Daemon beasts:
Now the last, the Greater Daemon. He is not painted, but the base is painted. Sort of a mini -diorama.

I was somewhat dubitious about your project, but now, seeing the result I can tell you I'm pretty impressed!
Very original and very nice convertion/paint-job. Keep-up the good job :)
-
I knew I wouldn't be disappointed.
Awsome work.
The best take on a daemon army I have ever seen :)
-
Great looking army, with a unique style.
I specially like the fleeing imperial soldier on the diorama base. What model did you use for him?
-
As a Daemon player in WH, I am stunned. :o
For myself, I can not even imagine to get such excellent results like yours, in the 28mm scale.
Thank you for the very good pictures.
-
Thanks everybody! I appreciate the comments!
Guthwine, the fleeing Empire soldier started as a handgunner. He's in one of the first photos of the greater daemon. I clipped the handgun off of him, and clipped the arms off. I clipped his foot off the base, and bent the body into a more forward position. I sawed the hat off his head, and peeled it back to make it look as though the hat was flying off his head. I had to use greenstuff to put the top of his head back on, and give him arms in approximately the right position for running. I had some spare Empire weapons, and used one to make it look as though he cast the weapon aside.
The dead folks on the back of the base started as skeleton archers. I used som greenstuff for shredded clothing. I added another head using greenstuff (3 heads, two bodies), and added some Empire weapons.
To show that the daemon leaves death in its wake, the back of the base is a mix of Scorched brown and black, then scorched brown, then bestial brown, then Goblin green (grass). The poor runner is almost off the edge of the grass that's still alive...
-
Bloody nice models, well done. Just the rest of the army to do now.... ;)
-
Thanks everybody! I appreciate the comments!

Really creative diorama... though gruesome.
Hmm. Moscovian bought a bunch of u/d archers from me a while back in order to provide heads for a bunch of Epic-scale Necrons. I wonder what became of the rest of their bodies... :-/
-
At last, pictures of new stuff. Sorry all, work has been driving me crazy since the start of the new year.
I have 3 daemon swarms sculpted, so i have pictures of those. I finished the greater daemon as well. In addition, I finished the base of the other daemons I painted.
First up: Swarms!

Some up close shots of the poor crossbowmen meeting an untimely end:

I really like this last vingette. The commander is screaming "Go, damn you!" while one of the troopers is trying to pull the worms off. Behind the trooper, a larger creature waves its tentacles toward the trooper...
The first one was more "fun": all you can see is the leggs of a crossbowman as he is getting swallowed. It is hard to see in this picture. I hope the fully painted version is easier to see.
These took *forever* to sculpt. I liked doing the little scenes of the Empire troopers getting overrun, but it did take a lot of time. I filled in a bit of space by using nymphs from Khursan Miniatures, and Face Huggers from Pendraken. On the last unit, I discovered another technique that was faster and allowed for smaller worms. I am tempted to just use rats for the 4th swarm, but I am trying to be good. I took a break from sculpting and finished painting the greater daemon. I think he turned out well!
Greater Daemon:
(http://i346.photobucket.com/albums/p435/BlackTemplarDad/Black%20Templar/Warmaster/Demon%20Army/DSC_0003-1.jpg)(http://i346.photobucket.com/albums/p435/BlackTemplarDad/Black%20Templar/Warmaster/Demon%20Army/MarDSC_0001.jpg)(http://i346.photobucket.com/albums/p435/BlackTemplarDad/Black%20Templar/Warmaster/Demon%20Army/MARDSC_0004.jpg)(http://i346.photobucket.com/albums/p435/BlackTemplarDad/Black%20Templar/Warmaster/Demon%20Army/MARDSC_0006.jpg)
I followed the same cool green/warm green color scheme from the overlord. I re-started this guy 3 times because I painted myself into a corner, so to speak. OK, bad pun. The first two attempts were AWFUL. Trust me.
And the overlord with the base done. The bone colored bits are supposed to be bits of bone...
Progress is slower than I would like. After I paint these 3 swarms, I will start painting the hordes.
-
These look great.
Could you not make some GS moulds for the more generic bases of swarms?
Might save you some time?
-
Four units of daemon hordes:

The four units of daemon hordes:

A shot of the whole army:
I need to finish the bases on the four units of daemon hordes. I'm almost done with a fifthe unit of daemon hordes. I have enough figures for most of a seventh unit. I will supplement the partial unit with some sculpted daemons.
I am waiting for an order to come in. They will form the basis for the deamon hounds. I am also working on ideas for deamon steeds and daemon chariots. But that will have to happen in April!
-
Sweet!
-
Very impressing. Reminds me a bit of a mixture between Tyranids and Ctulhu.
-
Very nice. The Khurasan and Pendraken Minis play very well together.
And your character sculpts and vignettes are wonderful.
-
You guys are great! Thanks for the compliments! ;D
For my next unit: I am working hounds of tindalos for my daemon wolves. What I have now is something the size of an Orc boar, with longer legs. Instead of a head, I put in a mouth full of sharp teeth. I need to add more muscle to the front legs -- I want them to be more of a lion or pit bull in shape.
I've got one done with a mix of plumber's epoxy (sets in 5 minures) and green stuff (60 - 120 minute working time). I wish I could find an epoxy putty that had a 20-30 minute working time, and cured in an hour! The hardware store used to sell wood epoxy putty that set in an hour. I have not been able to find in 5-8 years now.
Anyway, next will be the daemon steeds and daemon chariots. The steeds will be some sort of tall beetle like thing. Feeder tentacles hanging down to man height.
The chariots -- I want to do something crazy, like having daemons riding on the back of a large beast. I'm thinking about wraith-like figures wielding scythes riding on the backs of the large beetles.
I finished two more units of daemon hordes, and have enough figures left over for 2/3rds of another, so I am painting that up as well.
-
Have airborne chariots drawn by byakhees :)
-
Nice idea! I will do it!
I did some more research into the houndos of Tindalos last night. I will be scrapping my current design. It is too hefty as I have it now. I will post pictures anyway. I want these hounds to conform to the lean look in some of the art I saw.
I've also been working on doing sharp, needle like teeth. Not easy! I can get it to work fairly well on a surface, but I want the teeth to be angled out of the mouth.
I recently bought some Necromunda millisaurs. I was thinking about putting 10mm scale riders on them to stand in for daemon steeds. Now who wouldn't love a horde of giant worms ridden by insane spectres bent on death and desctruction? :)
The next daemon swarm will have lots of bones on the base. Field of bones, covered with worms. I found another idea whn I saw a picture of baby sea turtles coming out of their creche. I want to try that as well.
Next I want to find some one who can cast up some of the better pieces so I won't have to sculpt all of them...
-
The millasaurs are cool for daemons, I used them as my beasts of nurgle :)
-
I've got some Hounds of Tindalos pictures to post soon. I have 5 of 9 sculpted. I really liked the idea of the hounds materializing out of a cloud of smoke. They were fairly easy to do, as they are a conversion of the chaos hounds.
Woo Hoo! ;D

absolutely awesome works!

OK, I have pictures tonight.
First, the rejects. These are some test sculpts that I did that I decided not to go with.
Group shots:
(http://i346.photobucket.com/albums/p435/BlackTemplarDad/Black%20Templar/Warmaster/Demon%20Army/APRdsc_6.jpg)(http://i346.photobucket.com/albums/p435/BlackTemplarDad/Black%20Templar/Warmaster/Demon%20Army/APRdsc_5.jpg)
I was working on completing this one, but didn't like the mouth. Notice that this has no head!
Then I read that the Hounds of Tindalos are emaciated (corpse like) and appear from a cloud of smoke. That, plus so tripping through Google images, led me to try a new look. Rather than sculpt the whole thing, I am converting Chaos hounds to hounds of Tindalos. See what you think:
Some shots of each stand:
(http://i346.photobucket.com/albums/p435/BlackTemplarDad/Black%20Templar/Warmaster/Demon%20Army/adsc0013.jpg)(http://i346.photobucket.com/albums/p435/BlackTemplarDad/Black%20Templar/Warmaster/Demon%20Army/adsc0014.jpg)(http://i346.photobucket.com/albums/p435/BlackTemplarDad/Black%20Templar/Warmaster/Demon%20Army/adsc0011.jpg)
I like these better. They were easy to get done. I 'removed' some of the original fur to try to make the hounds look smooth(er), to heighten the texture contrast between hounds and smoke.
Next, I am starting work on some slightly smaller giant worms. I have the Necromunda millisaurs, but it is hard to fit more than two to a Warmaster stand. So I am sculpting a smaller version of the two poses I like best. Once done I would like to have these cast up. I am in the process of adding legs to one worm.
Here is a second pose for the giant worms. The structure I did using plumber's epoxy -- it cures in 10-20 minutes. Work fast! I will cover the basic shape with green stuff. The plumber's epoxy provides a firm foundation for the green stuff. It acts kind of like an armature.
Remember that the worms are the mounts, so I will need to create a few riders before the Dhole Riders will be ready to be daemon steeds. I am considering wraith like riders, flame elemental riders, and skull in flame riders. I want the riders to look both alien and horrifying. So I am still mulling over what the riders look like.
So that's what I have this time. Please let me know what you think about the Hounds. And let me know if you have suggestions for riders for the giant worms!

More excellent work there.
Off to play arkham horror now ;)

One giant worm completed!

I've got 5 more to go.
I've decided to start on the chariot and byakhees this weekend. :-)
-
Very nice work.
They look better than the originals :)
I am looking forward to the byakhees.
-
I'm working on two more poses for the giant worm. I hope to have the greens completed in a few days.
I didn't start the Bhyakhees yet.

Just found this site whilst looking for some figures for Arkham
http://www.em4miniatures.com/acatalog/Horrors.html
Might provide some more inspiration (if any is needed :D)

Thanks Azarael! Those are great!
I've finished 3 poses of the giant armoured worms. Here are some pictures:

I will restart the hounds soon, and will also start the byakhee chariot at the same time.
I saw Avatar last night. The 6 legged predators got the wheels turning. I am considering having 6 legged hounds. I like the smooth and black look, and I think it works well for the hounds of tindalos.

JChaos -- Thanks for the pictures. I will definitely have to get some of those.

June update.
Three units of worm swarms. In addition, I started sculpting up the 4th unit of worm swarms. Each is on a 2cmx2cm base. I will be contacting Pendraiken to see if they are interested in these at all. I plan on doing one more 2cmx2cm square, so that a number of these squares can be used to make a number of stands that are different from each other.
Here are the painted swarms:
And some close-ups of the more interesting stands:

Here are the new worm swarm sculpts:

And here are the sculpts in progress of the hounds of Tindalos:

My painting/hobby area is now all taken apart. We're having builders come in to make some changes to the basement. They supposedly start Monday, but they were supposed to start last wee and the week before. It is really annoying to have the hobby area disrupted for so long!
-
Are the swarm of worms also part of the pendraken production set?
(hope that the ansewer is yes :) 8))
-
JChaos -- not yet, but I think that they will be. I sent pictures to Pendraken today, and they like the 2 greens. I'm working on a third worm swarm base that will have other battlefield debris, such as an empty breast plate and a standard lying on the ground.
I've also been thinking about re-sculpting the 'plain' base. What if the worms came out of one of the corners, and were radiating out from the exit point? This would be one quarter of a circle, and with 4 bases arranged in a square, it would look like the worms coming out of the ground at one place and going in all directions. Any thoughts?
As for the hounds.... Well, we all can see they need more work.
-
Love the hounds.
Although they do remind of my whippet :)
-
Hi Azrael.
What size are the worms you sculpted ?
I´m looking for some "Daemon Beasts" for my WM Daemon "Nurgle" army (4000 pts)
I´m using the original daemon beats GW produced as cavalry as they perfectly fit to the the Nurgle style but I´m still on hunt/search for adequate "nurgle style" daemon beasts.
By the way....you are a talented artist.
Cheers
Claus (currently occupied with building Mordheim City for our games club)
-
Hi Claus,
I think you may be mistaken, this is BlackEd's thread.
He did all the work. :)
My daemon nurgle beasts are necromunda millisaurs.
Cheers
Mick
-
Uuuups ...sorry for that.
Then the flowers are belonging to BlackEd ;)
Regards
Claus
-
Thanks Claus! I like flowers! ;)
The armoured worms fit 3 to a base, and are something like 15 to 20mm tall. Pendraken says they will be cast up soon, so you will be able to buy some!

OMG your daemon army sculpt's are so inspiring!!! I just got a load of bits through the post today to start some conversions, (heresy is good for toad like daemons!), but I especially love these guys...
WOW! Awesome! I really love the colour scheme that you have used for them as well, it really works well together!
Another part I particularly like is the slaanesh swarm that you have sculpted!!!
Thanks ever so much for showing me this thread!
