I like the flat proxy idea, they are nice graphics and still do the job. The make me think of the original card punch out ships for Battlefleet Gothic actually!

These latest are awesome, mate! I really like that armoured orbital, and the assault pods would make very cool 'swarmer' craft in their current scale but also sized up!

The post of flat proxy heresy. At least plastic bases and miniatures photo are used, not ugly pixel art on paper.
Why?

1. I already can play full 2000 points, and try new ideas.

2. The army is literally pocket size. Sometimes it is crucial.
3. If any model break during the game, it can be replaced with a representative token.

I moved from the UK to Boston.

Our group games monthly-ish down in Manchester, CT if you're interested. We also do a weekly painting night on Tuesdays from 7-9 on Google Meet. We're mainly Epic, but there's plenty of people with interest and stuff for Warmaster, Necromunda, Mordheim, BFG, MoW and others.

Nice! That's unfortunately too far for me with any regularity -- I don't drive and recent years my health requires me to be closer to home more than it used to. So I really don't travel much beyond the MBTA or a short train ride, but if I'm ever down that way I'll try and figure something out.

Oh, there's also Under the Dice Fest in May down in CT too. Big Mordheim games day, and I think they're planning on doing a WM tournament on Sunday.
