Heroquest 25th Anniversary Edition
« on: September 28, 2017, 09:34:46 PM »
First I've heard of it but Game Zone Miniatures were releasing a Heroquest 25th Anniversary Edition

There was this crowd funding attempt which was cancelled:
https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/2113976860/heroquest-25th-anniversary

and then this which appeared to be funded:
https://www.lanzanos.com/proyectos/heroquest-25-aniversario/necesidades/
But last update in 2014

and then I found this:
http://www.heroquestclassic.com/en/
But blog does not have years in the dates!

Their website says you can pre-order it too:
http://www.gamezoneminiatures.com/tienda/en/heroquest-25th-/1715-heroqu.html

In summary the whole things seems to have have stalled?  Anyone know of anything?

I have been looking at this off and on for years.

I, too, got super excited and then that deflated when I realised it had absolutely no licensing or legal grounds to exist.

Last time I checked in on it I found a sculptor's facebook that had some models on it but I think this is just going to be trapped in limbo forever.  I would be very surprised for it to see the light of day as something that you or I could buy in a webstore or a shop.

I saw this a year ago, right after they shutdown the kickstarter.  I was excited for it but alas, I doubt it will happen  :(

This idea has been floating around for a while.  The fact of the matter though is that the licensing is not in place, so there is going to be no Heroquest revival in the short-term at least, which is a shame.
