THATS the one Lex!

Are there any spare ones knocking around that someone would be willing to sell/trade for other oop warmaster?
Alternatively could Bel knock up some copies to sell in limited quantities to the fanatics on this forum????

No spare ones AFAIK. If someone knows and has direct access to Steve Buddle (who originally sculpted this) and gets greenlight on (re)producing these, then we might be able to get something going. To my knowledge this mini was offered, but turned down, by GW, so other then Steve´s IP there would not be a problem....

Cheers for this I've just posted him a question about whether or not he'd sell me and possibly others on this forum any copies for our personal use only.

We'll see what he says.

Wow - he got back to me straight away.

No dice for us I'm afraid. Apparently GW paid him for the sculpt so it's their IP even though they never actually cast them up to sell. And he now works for GW so is not allowed to make/sell any figures on the side.

Loks like I'll have to try and find an alternative or break out the greenstuff!

This has me wondering, do any of you know if any of the original Warmaster sculptors now working as freelance sculptors (and who might therefore be approached for 10mm commissions)?

The core rulebook lists these as the mini designers:

Dave Andrews, Gary Morley, Trish Morrison, Alan Perry, Tim Adcock, Colin Grayson, Mark Bedford, Mark Harrison, Alex Hedström, Juan Diaz & Shane Hoyle.

I've just come across this thread on Warseer that's really informative regarding WM sculpting:
http://www.warseer.com/forums/showthread.php?277830-Games-Workshop-Warmaster-Release-Timeline
The next stage is seeing if any of them are working freelance...

NIce stuff.....  if that dryad is not IP "protected"  then I know several people that might be interested, and these I would love to compare with the lizardmen

I was just thinking about whether I could convert the Sphinx to be a Necrosphynx etc.

A scorpion tail would need to be added!

I guess a sphinx mount could be a proxy of the undead dragon

to be honest i would love some new units somehow incorporated into Warmaster, for example beastmen monsters.
