Dwarf flame cannon mini question
« on: November 11, 2012, 11:42:02 AM »
Hi all

The dwarf flame cannon comes with the horse and cart. What do people do with that?

Do you use it on a seperate base?

GW shows it in a larger than normal base but that really goes against the sizing rules of a unit. So what do people do with it?

Was the flame cannon ever a 2 base strong unit in any list?

I can understand fluff, but i just want to get base sizing correct for this unit.

Thanks in advance

one base + one flamethrower. The Cart makes a nice minidiorma/objectivemarker with the portable/field forge and anvil etc...

In our games the flame cannon is on 1 standard base, and the horse and cart on a second base. The horse and cart is only used as decoration - it has no in game effect.

Really all the artillery could do with lots of horses and wagons to help them move, as they do really zoom around the battle field at a pace napoleonic horse artillery would be proud of.
