Optional rules critical hit "Wild Sweep"
« on: November 14, 2012, 02:20:20 AM »
"Your opponent’s weapon is knocked from his hand"
The Q. is:
1. What happens with anarmed model?
2. With animal (dog, wolf, etc)?
3. Model with "Eshin fighting claws" ("sharp metal blades attached to the paws of a Skaven warrior", so how "knocked from his hand"?)
4. With ghouls (they "carry a few bones which they use as primitive weapons")?
5. What type of critical hit causes ghouls: "bludgeoning weapons" or "unarmed combat"?

1. See "Fist" in the "Weapons & Armour" section of the rulebook (p.24)
2. Nothing, they have no weapons to lose.
3. Broken off, bent out of shape, however you want to explain it - there's nothing in the Fighting Claw rules to say they ignore it.
4. Ghouls don't use weapons as such, so it doesn't affect them.
5. Unarmed combat.
Galak 3:16 says "There is a point in time that a player really should read the rulebook."
