Vampire Counts and shooting
« on: September 01, 2014, 09:42:32 PM »
Hi all,

just a small question to confirm something I did during my last VC game.

Suppose you have a brigade with 4 units of skeletons in line (so first unit has 3 visible stands, second unit is completely supporting first unit etc). The enemy shoots the skeletons, scoring several hits. The skeletons have to roll for drive back. Instead of being driven back I decided that the second unit simply does not give way. Normally the first unit them becomes confused automatically but since undead troops can't be confused it simply does not matter.

So apart from eliminating stands (and thus making subsequent commands more difficult) a vampire count army can't really be stopped by shooting, is that correct? The undead horde simply shuffles forward...

Did I play this correctly? Or did I miss something in the rules?

Thanks a lot,

Jo

Same as with Khemri Undead! They don't get confused.
