Dark Elf Malakith
« on: September 26, 2014, 09:29:47 PM »
Hi.   I was thinking of using the old Epic 40k Eldar Avatar model to represent the Witch King in a DE army.

And just adding +25 points to give the DE General the ability to cast spells.

Very nice idea!

I'd be tempted to give another rule to Malekith. A rule that makes him ruthless and vicious, and shows how much the other Dark Elf characters fear him

I don't like terror with a General. You're unlikely to want to attach your general to a unit, so you probably wouldn't use it in a game.

I was thinking of something more along the lines of ............. "when a DE character rolls their first blunder s/he is automatically assassinated for their failure. However, such is the fear instilled by Malekith that the next 2 characters you test with have a +1 bonus to Command (only applies if it's on the same turn)"

That would make sense!
Suggestion: Adjust this with: immediately MOVE Malakith to the culprit and slay him/her. This move is done outside the normal move sequence. This way you have both Bonus and Malus in the rule.
