The battle on ice - Bretonnians vs Kislev 1500

Hello everyone!

It's been several years since my last visit and post here as real life matters and the lack of WM opponents made me explore other scales and rulesets.

It is great to see some good mates still here around, and I'd like also say to Hello to the rest I do not know

This is a report (picture highlights to be more exact) of our annual game between JChaos and me.

The scenario was inspired by the XIII century Lake Peipus battle that confronted Teutonic Order Crusaders against Novgorod Rus Army over a frozen (let it go...) lake.

Special rule: when rolling a double six at the time of issuing any order the ice breaks and one stand is lost. The unit must be on the ice and this effect substitutes the blunder roll in the table. Kislev wagon instead of losing a stand becomes confused. If the order is rolled for a brigade the unit strained is selected randomly.

The game was really fun, with lots of furious attacks and every time an order was giving on ice there was some extra tension... The brets lost three stands and Kislev none, but the wagon was confused in a critical moment.

Looks like a fun! Clearly the Kislevites know where to avoid the thin ice. I guess they're used to it.
