charging
« on: June 19, 2010, 10:25:27 PM »
The wording of the charge rule has been questioned in one of our games. I've checked the rules, and i can see his point of view.

The relevant quote is.... "A unit can only charge an enemy that it can see at the start of its move." (from page 32, enemy in sight)

My friend says that each seperate command order you give to a unit is the start of its move.
But i say the start of your move is before anything moves on your turn.

I'll give you a diagram to make it clear what i'm asking.

In the diagram below there's two sides, red v's grey. It's the red turn. The hill blocks line of sight.
The left picture is the initial position of the red unit. A character gives the red unit an order, and they move to the top of the hill.
Can the character now give the red unit another order to charge the grey unit?

(apologies if this is an obvious answer, we're on our second game)  :)
