Rankings HQ
« on: July 30, 2010, 09:37:46 AM »
I have been looking at http://www.rankingshq.com recently.
I think that even though our event scene is small, it may be worthwhile to get all of the communities event/tournament results up there.
I have mailed them to add the game along with warmaster ancients.
So pass the word on to everyone you know, get them to mail and ask the same question and we may get them added.

There are not that many people on the site at the minute so 30+ emails will be quite a loud voice of support  :o

It would provide a very useful analytical tool for army choice and build.
Cheers
Mick

Hi Mick,

Thanks for your enquiry regarding Warmaster.

Out of interest what country were you referring to when you said "Out Here"?

Also can you please send through an example set of tournament results to contact@rankingshq.com and I will see how suitable it is to fit into our current system.

Regards,
Andrew Galea

So we need a list of participating countries, along with any tournament results in a usable format.

Cheers

There already is an international ranking system with Warmaster: http://www.tabletopturniere.de/us/.
Unfortunately only france, germany and austria have put their WM results there yet and as far as I know GB is not part of the system yet (which can be changed easily).

Maybe it would be interesting to build upon an existing one? So maybe someday we'd have a real international ranking...

Greetings,
Gerald

very cool.
It would be nice if UK could be added.
Only mentioned the other one as it is on all of the podcasts I listen to.
It also seems quite intuitive to use.

Just trying to raise the profile of the game anyway I can.

I'm perfectly with you. Whatever helps.  ;)

I will be asking if it is possible to add the UK. But I guess there should be a british tournament organiser that registrates a tournament there before it'll work.
From my own experience I can only recommend t3. It is very helpful concerning registration and so on...

Greetings,
Gerald

So why not register for both?
So I need to know where you play, how many are there of you, and and tournie results you have :)

It would be nice if UK could be added.

T³ is always to the search of a UK admin (or England admin, Wales admin, Scotland admin...). If you are interesting or know someone interesting contact Blacky

Edit:
T³ is interesting for player locator

Hey,

nice to hear that you're interested in our page and first of all: sorry for T³ not being that easy to use at the moment. The website has grown over the last 5 years and it got a little bit crowdy over this time. Therefore we offer much, much more than just a ranking. We're currently implementing a bunch of usability improvements to get things streamlined.

To give you a brief overview about our site here are some of our central features:

* Unique online tournament administration: Players can sign up online and you don't have to do any paperwork or forum topic upkeeping
* Tournament / player / club locator based on 1000s of entries
* Find tournaments by name, location, map, calendar, ... for over 80(!) different tabletops
* Connect to your friends and club members
* We also have some national and international rankings based on the results of over 4000 tournaments ;-)

If you'd like to send us tournament results just follow the instructions on this page:

http://www.tabletoptournaments.net/t3_ntr_add.php
http://www.tabletoptournaments.net/stuff/ntr_results.xls (Link to the draft)

You can contact any admin by mail with "nickname" [AT] tabletoptournaments [DOT] net.

At the moment we have a limited number of countries, which is based on the fact, that a supported country is more than just another ranking for us. With our unique features it needs a little more afford to get this started. Ask me if you'd like to get some details on this.

If you have any problems or questions, just drop me a message.

Cheers
