Generally 1 swarm unit  in front of 2 horde units.  If my opponent does not have shooting, the swarms back up the hordes (cheap support).

Flyers are each independant.

Cavalry is brigaded as  1 hound, 1 Cavalry and 1 Chariot.  One brigade will have 2 chariots and 1 will have 2 cavalry.  Hounds out front to draw missle fire.

When I played this game against Graymatterblues, I brigaded my infantry into two brigades of 1 swarm unit and 3 horde units.  The leftover swarm unit was parked in the middle of the woods and left there.

No dispell scroll.  I decide to go for a purely aggressive list.  Wings are not needed on the characters because I have two units of flyers.

I found beasts to be too expensive.  Same with the Greater Daemon.  Although, if I had a dispell scroll, the beasts might be worth it.  When I did have beasts, my Undead opponents would target them with Doom and Despair which made it hard to use them at all!

it is always very nice to be able to provide a spell magnet.....  at least those spells will NOT go against the unit(s) that you are trying to get in the thickof the battle !!

:-P.

You mean the special "Hello Kitty" anti-Demon spell.  Or was it "Don't Worry, Be Happy."
