ADDITIONAL SHIPS COMPENDIUM 2.0 PRIZE GUIDANCE

Submit your best example of what is in, or going to be in, the Additional Ships Compendium 2.0. This can be a conversion or a proxy, in either the capital ship or small ship categories. They do not have to match the diagrams in the document but must clearly represent a ship class/unique vessel found in the ASC 2.0. All entries except those made by Gothmog Lord of Balrogs will be eligible to win. Judging will be done by Gothmog, but the voting results will be heavily considered. Particular considerations will be given to vessels that truly capture the "Gothic" or "Grim-dark" feel of the Warhammer 40,000 Universe.

Feel free to use any proxies from Firestorm Armada, Battlegroup Helios, Shapeways, etc. etc. So long as it can be determined to accurately represent the ship you are saying it does. Gothmog Lord of Balrogs reserves all right to make this final determination.

Furthermore, some ships do not yet have rules developed and have scant information on them. If you feel unclear as to whether your vessel meets the criteria, or want to check, feel free to PM myself or post in here. And finally, I do have the rules for roughly 95% of the Chaos vessels from 2 years ago when this project started. Feel free to ask for any of the current version of their rules in the same method.
If you feel you have a GREAT idea for an undefined ship, feel free to share and it might just make it into the ASC!

There are no specific dreadnoughts in the ASC 2.0. There will be guidelines for their creation, plus a few examples

etc. etc.
IF IT IS SUPER HUGE and NOT in the rules (eg Ork Hulk, Eldar Craftworld) it goes HERE and can enter for the ASC 2.0 prize!

No rights of ownership to the images will be asserted by Gothmog or Sepulchre of Heroes (sepulchreofheroes.blogspot.com) and all images will be properly credited, with your preference of name or username (or anonymous should you wish). No profit will be made from the ASC 2.0 by any party involved in its development. If you have concerns, please contact me via PM.

Shouldn't the Furious-class be removed from the list? After all, Games Workshop turned it into the Vengeance-class. Also, would it be acceptable if I were to upload stats and data for a ship I like using, but which came from a website that is no longer online?

I guess I do need to fix that to be Vengeance class (although that goes against ship naming conventions where classes are always named after the first in class)

But yes, please do put up stats, or PM. You can also put them in the main ASC thread on the discussion page (maybe a better place? but either is fine for me TBH
