I like the flat proxy idea, they are nice graphics and still do the job. The make me think of the original card punch out ships for Battlefleet Gothic actually! :P

Two new characters with terror rule. During the creation of detailed background for my Lost Kindred army I realised, that they do not have traditional possibilities to get terror. There are no dragons or forest spirits in their new home forest, only a minimum number of dryads. That's a real problem for lightly armoured elves. The replacement for nobles on dragons is mercenary Asarnil Dragonlord - the same cost and stat-line, but it's the only one dragon. A treeman ancient may be replaced with an owlbear - my army is built around owls, so it's a good reason to add the owl-like creature and say that it's the great sentinel-spirit of Forest of Gloom.

They looks great. Is that a scaled down WFB STL?

No, Asarnil is from Polish Lightning, before they removed it from their shop. In fact, original 28mm version had better details on the wings.
Owlbear is scaled down version from Artisan minis.

Water elementals, ogre-sized treekin proxy. Warband rulebook from Pendraken offers such a unit for Wood elves, so let's suppose that Lost kindred spellweavers learned to control water spirits. They were very easy to paint in no time, and they reminded me Warcraft 3 water elementals.

Alternative treekin, ogre-sized big infantry. I do not like new treekin background, they became just a copy of eldar spirit-constructs. Mine are dead trees with temporary spirits inside them, that fight with the elves and after that abandon their bodies, leaving terrifying silent grave glades.

At last, after almost 5 years Owl riders are ready. The regiment from which the idea of using owls instead of hawks and eagles had began. The deadliest silent feathered predators. Thanks @Ghamak for the perfect sized sculpts of owls. I think he'd had never imagined such a result.

Almost useless but very attractive objectives. Love that WarCraft 3 vibe, the soundtrack plays in my head out of nowhere. While crafting them, I decided that my Lost Kindred would worship Lileath in the first place instead of Isha and Kurnous. Her symbols and ideas are much closer to the path of the Kindred, and to their new friends in the Forest of Gloom.

Regular treekin, nothing very special. Everyone is obsessed with "grim dark" painting style, so I thought if my treekin are terrifying animated dead trees, why not to at least try to make them "dark". No. Just no. Dark 10mm minis are just the messy dirty spot, especially during a game, when you and your opponent watch them from 1-2 feet. In a club with bad lights.
Please! Make your minis recognisable from a distance! Real life differs from instagramish show-off! Water elementals turned out the most satisfying - they look bright and aggressive. Check the last photo, I've added frogs to them.

Voland's Venators, infamous mercenary knights. Alcoholics, bastards and excellent fighters that beat bretonnians at their own "royal" tournament in Couronne - what not to love? I'm very happy how they turned out, nicknamed them "knights peacocks".

I've understood the reason I don't like to paint 10mm cavalry: riders are already "attached" to steeds which makes it very hard to reach all the parts.

Nevertheless many thanks to @Minirat for such amazing sculpts, way better than the original "brilliant" gw models.

Gorgeous pieces throughout these pages, sir! I really like the pocket sized pieces you made and the objective markers too. Great work!

Many thanks, I appreciate it. I hope, you've mentioned the minis, not the flat proxy set, because only it is pocket sized.
Sometime this warhost will be revealed in the full glory.

Going all the way with the old school vibe! Wood elven chariots have been made as the proxies for Wild hunt, because any army needs shock cavalry, but the Lost Kindred is too far away from Athel Loren. Chariots are always stunning as a result, they look like small dioramas each. The way to this result was too long.
Thanks to Forest Dragon and Cromarty Forge for minis and Kallistra LTD for bases.

You have some great models in this topic. The green, in particular looks so good.  That old school vibe is working very well and I look forward to seeing more.
