My first warmaster list. 1000pts High elves.

Greetings everyone.

Here I have designed my first warmaster list to tryout. I have gone for High elves for I really love the fluff and feel of the army. Plus I love the models.

To start of with I have gone with a basic 1000pt list.

Here it is:

General: Paradus hithili, Swordmaster of Averlorn
-Orb of Majestry

Hero: Lieutenent Haldier

-Sword of Might (Points left over)

(1) Swordmaster unit (Spearmen rules)

(1) Silver Helm unit

(1) Dragon Prince unit (Silver Helm rules)
-Banner of Shielding

(1) Great Eagle unit

1000pts exact.

Indeed, MI's perhaps apart from a dispel scroll, a ring of magic and of course a sword of might for a hero mounted on a terror causing mount, etc... are all really just there to soak up odd points, not to build an army around. However, if you are looking to play with purely painted armies and still have unfinished units, they are a useful way to soak up some points to keep the battlefield looking pretty.
