No mathmatics necessary here. Simply measure the move distance of the base corner that moves the farthest - similar to the method described by Getlord in the "Rotating on the Charge" discussion. This is most easily done by placing a blank base or template (I use a WM base with a golf tee glued on, making it easier to move around) in the intended final position of the stand to be moved and measure the distance. Quick and simple.
