Noice!
Like the alternating colour at the back and sides... Adds life...

Hey look at that! It's repulsive class week! Lol...

My favourite class of grand cruiser... Imho the best looking chaos ship design and one I'd love be to do another if soon...

Great stuff Horizon. Those bases are fantastic. I love the ones on the Iconoclasts.

Where'd ya get that Admech cruiser from?

Some Corsair Eldar finally finished in the repainting session. This means my whole Corsair Fleet is redone now. Took a decennia. lol. As you might've seen I painted several Eldar vessels based on the flower they are named after. To round the fleet I painted the remaining vessels as the branches/roots who take in the water...

Nice! You certainly do smash these models out. I'm happy I got a single colour on 2 models done today lol

Thanks.

This bunch was very easy. Not even painted that neat. Main point was to get a real good fleet effect. And I think that works out with wooden colour and blue splash. And the most dark brown you see is the still from the old paintjob.

Next up another Tzeentch cruiser and the remaining escorts. Then two Imperial transports followed by a single remaining slightly altered Tau Protector.

Even if it took a decennia (extra points for using that word btw) the results are lovely. When it comes to this hobby it just shows that perseverance is the key. I like the star field effects on the bases too!

Last escorts finished

Styx almost done

The base has been repainted, sometimes things work, sometimes they don't.

Plus the special effect is 90% done for the Styx... it is overdone but.... why not! In a few days :)

Oh noooooeeeeesssss

I can twist of and on. Which may be a fun thing during the game or so.

Welll.... the Protector is finished. Before you think : what a speed: about 70% was painted several years ago. Now I just finished the last bits. ;)

So:
* The Prow launch bays got fortified/replaced by some studding.
* The Ion Cannon stubs removed
* A prow Craftworld Eldar battery installed
* A alien-esque, raided, Demiurg, attachment went onto the left wing. What it does? I don't care, I need to write the rules. I think harvesting stuff like Demiurg do.

It is called the Lar'shi'vre Nu'ata "Endtimes" Dar'ce Eriel.
(Actually a base concept of what happened to Nu'ata after The Distant Sun supplement/storyline

After finishing this I see so many oppurtunities to go conversion & kitbas nuts with both of the Tau fleets. You can also imagine a small warband of Tau vessels going pirate style and retro-fitting ships with looted stuff.
