Wingsize (does matter)
« on: June 30, 2011, 11:22:51 AM »
What would be a normal sized fighter wing/ composition for Eldar? I have nothing at the moment, but am looking into getting some models (as I also have epic Eldar).

Apologies for not quite being on topic, but it should lead to me able to post something on topic.

Fantastic question

In Aeronautica, Eldar are EXTREMELY expensive.  One eldar fighter usually accounts for two of most races, and THREE chaos hell blades.  For this reason, you don't need a huge number of eldar craft for a full fighter wing.  In order to play most eldar missions in the book, you will need..

4 Nightwings (2 packs)
2 Phoenix (1 pack)
1 Vampire Hunter
1 Vampire Raider.
3 Eldar Firestorms (1 pack)

This is what I have myself. I got SUPER lucky on ebay and nabbed it all for 120 bucks.  Typically you can get this for closer to 150 or 160. Recognize you will never have to buy any more then this unless you want too :D
