Sometimes one gang may become much more powerful than the other local gangs. If such a situation arises, the lesser gangs may be too fearful to encroach upon the larger gang’s territories. However, this won’t stop them attempting to bushwhack a small group of fighters who wander away from the safety of their fellows.
Such a target of opportunity often occurs when a ganger is sent to work one of the gang’s territories. Obviously only a fool would wander the Underhive alone, however, in the comparative safety of one’s own backyard, one is usually only accompanied by lesser gang members who have been sent along to learn the ropes.
