Heh, doesn't seem bad from the photos PW, I've seen a lot worse! (Usually with "PRO PAINTED @.@ L@@K" in the listing title) =-P

An Empire army with White Wolf Knights in it got snapped up a bit later too.

I almost went for that Empire army at the same time but bottled it at the last minute, mainly because I've got half an Empire army painted. I did try to convince a couple of my friends to buy it (selling the White Wolf unit would have made it a bargain) but they don't have the necessary Warmaster-wisdom! Or, regrettably, my ridiculous propensity to buy army after army!

Recently I saw some Empire knights go for only £18 each or so?  I'm surprised that some things go for relatively cheap on ebay - then I see a SOC blister get split up and it's £30 JUST for the two elves from it!

You guys have a lot more options in the UK eh?  A lot of those great auctions don't ship to North America :(

Always contact the seller to ask. Very few people list auctions willing to ship out here to Australia, but if you ask you can sometimes convince them to do that.

I found these odd:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/180841875600?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649

I know these guys are all uncommon, but damn those prices are silly.

Those are from a fellow forumite    8)

And he still misquotes the Kights Errant as Empire knights of the Panther......

I can't deny some of my shock at the prices they reached comes from annoyance at them escaping my own bidding limits :P

There seems to be a bit of a resurgence in terms of Warmaster's prices on ebay at present, stuff I'd value at about £30 or so has really jumped upwards over the last month or two. I'm certainly priced out of the market for Alts on there for now -  spending larger amounts on larger lots is far more fun!

Awhile ago I decided that if I am going to become a serious contender in the Warmaster market I should take a part time job out with the intention of using that money to fund my splash into Warmaster. This would allow me to compete with all those middle aged men with black Visa cards and at the same time not effect my living style. At the time there was a lot of great items on eBay and I am glad  I had some semblance of a plan setup as it seems some of those items are crazy expensive even 2 months later. I have a few pure silver bars sitting next to my two unpainted units of dragon princes. I am sure you already know which has a higher market value.  8)

As a 40 year old with a black visa card I have to console myself with the knowledge that although my youth has now slipped by, at least I can now afford whatever toys I want, within reason........

and even more importantly (says one who just turned 53 2 days ago !!), we tend to need less sleep !!  so more chance to get that final bid in !!
