Apple is the problem with Safari. :) jk.

*cough cough* google chrome is for winners *cough cough*  :P

This year has some awesome competitors though - I wouldn't mind winning, but hell I would not be upset if I lost either... I am loving some of those conversions!

A good competition and entries of quality! Thanks for the competition, thanks to the competitors too for showing us their models. There are astonishing pieces :)

Keep in mind that you, the audience, vote for painting quality, style, etc and not for conversions. ;) We have judges for that.

On that: Canucks Fan replaces Warmaster Nice as a conversion judge this year.

Lol, I imagine it was a connection issue.
I don't make the rules, I just think them up and write them down.

It's my first competition...it's the first time that I show in this way my model. I'm not sure to be "good enough" to this kind of things...
But when I see my ship...when I see my ship versus the other ship...
It's wonderful!!!
Oh my...
I don't mind if I will or not win something because only see my ship near the other's in that page, is enough!

I have voted. But, it really wasnt easy and in a couple of categories I spent ages trying to decide.

Which brings me to my favourite gripe... sorry to go on about it again, but I can't help it.
Anyway, I really think that at least the first round of voting should allow for multiple votes. Once I found myself in a situation where I wanted to vote for more than one entry in quite a few of the heats, but had to decide on just one. :(

This is a fair comment. But remember that there is only one winner and no 'second prize'. At some point, everyone needs to pick one and only one. Now, I know that it changes the competition against an entry if people are allowed multiple votes in a category, but it might also mean that we need three rounds instead of two.

Well, the idea is to get everyone having fun and getting involved, and for me the gallery is the best result of this every year, which stays available as inspiration (except between site moves, obviously!).

There are great models this year!
Is it only me or links to hall of fame and older galleries not working after forum moved?

Cybershadow is still transfering them to this new website.

And yes, the gallery is the boost of the competition each year to me as well. And thats why I keep running it.

edit: we have passed the 30 vote mark.

Im a little disappointed by not seeing the voting results anymore.

In previous editions you could see them. I think the best solution would be making them visible only to the users who already voted.

In that way i could follow the voting process. I would be interested if there is a head up race somewhere that changes. Only seeing the results in the end isnt as thrilling in my opinion.

Like it is now ppl. dont have a reason to come back here until after a week.

Last year was exactly the same as this year.

What do other people think?

Really? I actually thought that having a larger number of votes would decrease the chances of a draw, rather than increase it.
Either way, personally I wouldn't mind an additional round of voting to resolve any draws, if it is required.

I would love to see the result (thus far) after I've voted. Adds to the excitement in my book.

Idea, Cybershadow, Schwager, others: shall I do an inbetween round where numbers 2 of each heat go against eachother. Two votes per user. Winner to final. 3 Days of voting.

Is there a limit to how many pictures you can put on one round? It seems like the best option would be to just put them all in one heat and be done with it.
