Youre very welcome. :)

Also note that with the gap rule you only need the length of the front edge, so its 4cm for infantry and 2cm for cavalry.

Are you sure about that? Should it not be "front edge plus 1cm on each side"?  ???
Or am i just thinking of an older set of rules?  :-\

Youre right, when it comes to movement between enemy units the gap must be wider than the front edge allthough the rulebook doesnt specify how much. So 41mm are enough to pass through for infantry.

@Guthwine you are not 100% right with the last information.

Somewhere in the rulebook it clearly states that when you want to move through gaps of ememy units you need to keep at least 1cm distance when moving through the gap....meaning the gap must have 4cm minimum as you are allowed to to use smallest side of the stand to measure.

p21
Quote
The gap rule
When a stand moves it can be oriented to pass
through any gap so long as the gap is at least as wide
as the stand’s shortest edge, usually this will be
20mm....
The exception to this rule is that a stand cannot pass
through a gap between two enemy stands, or between
an enemy stand and any feature or friendly stand,
unless the gap is wider than the stand’s own frontage,
as shown in diagrams 21.1. and 21.2. For example,
there must be a gap of more than 40mm for an
infantry stand to pass between two enemy stands,
between an enemy stand and a friendly stand, or
between an enemy stand and the edge of a river.....

Well its not specified in the gap rule. The only difference is, that if its a gap between terrain, its the shortest edge counts and if its a gap between units than the front edge counts.

Maybe youre mixing it up with the Fall Back rule, where you cant move up closer than 1cm to an enemy unit.
