[WM] Edmund2011 Warmaster projects
« on: August 02, 2012, 07:52:30 PM »
Hi all,

I am not very used to paint, and the result is that I always end painting one or two units a year..  :'(

So, I decided to try Army Painter (after reading Jo thread, thanks!), and put here the progress to keep a track of the work done.

 July 2012:

Kislev champions:

Kislev axemen:

Saxon Houscarls:

Saxon bowmen:

The Witch King riding a winged beast (for BOFA)

Imperial bombard:

Araby elephants:

Thanks for the comments!

I am doing now a little bit of scenery (roads, etc), but I already have some units in the August pipeline :)

Thanks, yes they are for playing with the araby army, but models are plastic figures of "The War of the Ring" tabletop game.

I recruited them for Warmaster  ;)

The flying dragon is good... a Nargul w/ ringwraith? The brown dip or stain used is actually really good... damn with a few highlights those bad boys could be insane!

Nice! The Kislev axemen and the elephants are my favourites!
What shade armydip did you use, the light, medium or darker one? (I forget their official titles)

Very nice, I specially like the kislev units. And those elefants are a surprisingly good fit for araby.

Hi, here goes the August results:

The mighty Smaug

The model is a plastic toy (quite cheap btw), recruited and painted for WM :)

Saxon Infantery:

Orc pirate on chariot:

Inspired by XVI century chinese and japanese pirates I am painting some oriental orc pirates  :) They will be a nice threat to Imperium coastline... hehehe... I plan painting his (motley) crew in September.

The chariot is from Old Glory, the tiger-beasts are Sabertooth from Magister Militum and the Orc is a great figure from Copplestone.
