Shooting all around question

Hi, just asking to be sure:  If an unit of pistoliers (who can shoot 360°) is charged right into the flank, can all 3 bases shoot at charging unit or just the one which is going to be touched by the charging unit? Thanx.

I believe a stand gets to shoot at a charging unit if it can draw LoS to the charger at any point during its move. So nearly every time that's going to be the whole unit.

They can shoot all the stands that can see the enemy (LOS).

so if it is a giant or (or short single base) only one can shoot. If it is a three base unit, some part of the unit will pop in the line of sight of the pistoliers son they can shoot the three bases.

Edit, ooooh yes, re reading the Dave answer, They can shoot in any moment during the charge. Dave answer is perfect.

But this is interesting for hellblaster because they can wait unit 1cm to contact and then fire with all the potential of the artillery

I believe the Hellblaster special rule makes note of that specific situation, they are always assumed to shoot at charging enemies at 0cm.

The three stands can shoot if the three of them can see the charging unit during the charge, and as long those stands are not already engaged in hand to hand combat with another unit.
