While I appreciate the value of that expansion, given that I own a copy myself, it cannot possibly be worth anywhere near that much.  A rare German edition it may be, but asking such an extortionate price cannot be justified in my opinion.

I really want to get a full set of UK edition Heroquest add ons at some point, for myself.  The base game, Kellar's Keep and the Witch Lord add on are not too scarce but the Ogre Horde and Morcar add ons are incredibly rare to find in complete condition, even without boxes.

I wonder why that is - were they very late in the release cycle? Was the RRP on release too high?

They were the last two releases (apart from the Adventure Design Kit), so that may have something to do with it.  I'm also not sure how many of them were actually made.  I'm just relieved that I have them, so that I don't have to shop around for them now.

The Ogre Horde and Wizards of Morcar were both released in the UK.

This chap had a glut of rares or rather, un-released Warmaster.  I assume they were recasts - but they went for a good price.

Mmmmm, imho i'm not sure about they beeing recasts: principefenice is the eBay nickname of Luca Amadori, once chief of italian GW team. So he could have grabbed some goldies, as many others gw staff did.

Oh wow! That's interesting.  I imagine that a lot of odds and ends on eBay must come from ex-GW staff, then.
