(BFG) Some Chaos ship conversions (Heretic, Pestilaans, Blasphemer)

Had built a couple of Chaos Light Cruisers (Heretic class and Pestilaans) and was quite inspired by Armiger84's Blasphemer build, so had to give this one a go also.

Chaos Light Cruisers: Pestilaans on the left and Heretic class on the right. Still deciding how I want to make modular weapons work; magnets or blutak...

On with the Blasphemer. Pretty much followed Armiger84's initial build with slightly different rear bay layout and bay spacers.

Superstructure
First pic is my original superstructure plan and the leveling plate underneath that mates up the Imperial cruiser lower hull.  This superstructure is not big enough for a heavy battleship. Had long thought about using the bottom of the plastic Chaos cruiser as a superstructure for something and this morning the light bulb went off in my head: Use the bottom of the plastic Chaos cruiser as the base superstructure  for the Blasphemer. Quicky mockup in second pic below.




Still have plenty of stuff to do. Pretty sure the prow will get cut off and Repulsive GC prow grafted on instead. Need to take pics of the lower hull (plastic Imperial cruiser

I like the light cruisers and like the progress so far on the Blasphemer!  Can't wait to see how this build develops.

Got a bit more done on the superstructure. Planet Killer arrived and has a very nice bridge that may get used. There will be a secondary bridge between the dorsal turret and the PK bridge and a tertiary control bridge between the first and second weapons bays. Chopped off the original prow in preparation for the Repulsive GC prow.
