Just watched
About Elly two days ago. The plot is very intricate, and it is a story well told. The film revolves around a group of old friends on a holiday retreat by the Caspian Sea. Suddenly in the middle of all the fun, the protagonist of the film - Elly - suddenly vanishes into thin air. Then ensue a series of deceptions and revelations that sort of shatter the lives of all those who remain. Pretty serious stuff, but a gripping mystery. Another lighter flick we watched was the second part of the
How to Train Your Dragon animation flick, by DreamWorks. Have been hearing a lot about it on and off, thanks to my son who swears by the
dragon games based on the movie. And so he borrowed a DVD from a friend and we watched it. I was pleasantly surprised - the animation was terrific, the story - even though it is a kids' film - had a pretty good emotional angle to it, and the friendship between Hiccup and Toothless was super endearing. Loved it!
