Hi Dave,

I received the figures, they are really nice and well done.  :)

I have updated the catalogue with some pics.

Thanks for your effort and good work to make them possible.

Keep'em coming!  8)

Thanks for updating the catalogue, Ed!

I'm a bit worried about losing those pikes in the post I must admit. x-D

For those who have been asking, the Landsknechte with Zweihänder (Great Swords) and Landsknecht Pikeniere (Pikemen) are now available up on the Warmonger Miniatures website.

Despite being a backer, I admit I was rather behind on it all. Only just got that shipping charge payed.  :-[

Today I received my two units of Pikemen and two units of Swordsmen (did a bulk order with a fellow member from my country) and I am very happy with them. The sculpts and casting are fantastic, great work Dave!!!

I'm starting to paint up my first unit of Zweihanders - and have some questions about armour.

Some of the chaps are wearing helmets (this is pretty obvious, even to me!)

Do some have breast plates? For instances the pose with the sword held two-handed over his head, and the standard bearer, what about the one holding his dagger in the right hand? Lots of the poses have their arms in front of the body, so its not too important.

Some seem to have some plates at the top of their legs - are these armour?

Ultimately in 10mm I know that I can choose to paint a chest as a breast plate, or as a puffed out jacket. But it would be good to know what the intention is (or what was typically worn historically)

All the figs should have breastplates, yes. The parts on top of the thighs are tassets, and yes they're armor.

These are great!! Now I just need to sell off all those 28mm models that are collecting dust...

Are there any concrete plans for future releases? As a latecomer to warmaster, halberdiers would be incredibly useful (Aswould crossbows and handguns, of course), and if I could get an entire army I this kind of quality is be very happy!

Some gendarmes wouldn't go astray, either ;)

Once I'm a bit closer to breaking even it'll either be Halberdiers, Arquebusiers or Crossbowmen. Once the infantry's done, light and heavy cav, light and heavy artillery, and characters.

Like the new models . When are they for general sale ?
