[SH] Does anyone think GW will rerelease the stuff they had for 1st edition

Had my copy all afternoon and had a couple of games.
As stated in the rule book, the rules are essentially 1st edition.
I know there a few sites out there with the original rules on, but does anyone think we will see the big GW re-release some of their old white dwarf issues or even better the Space Hulk Campaigns book.

I really hope so, or at least a couple of issues but their track record is not very good for keeping the articles pumping out on these type games.

I'd love to see it done but I really doubt it. With a limited realease game it's hard to belive that they would print new rules or anything. I mean it would be like - " Ok, those who menaged to buy our sweet SH box - here are the new awesome campaign rules and stuff, The Rest - tough luck looosers!" Unless they have a secret agreement with ebay where those SH boxes will be turning into pure gold in few years , they won't add any new rules or anything. Don't get me wrong I will be more than happy to prove myself wrong, but with that type of marketing - it's highly unlikely.

No need to print anything just release the source material on the web.
Having read the mission and rule book they are almost identical from the originals so they have the stuff lying around somewhere.
I know some of it is 'available' out on the net but not all of it.

From what I am hearing the most recent WD says they will not do anymore releases. I quit buying the White Dwarfs due to the cost so I can not confirm this.

I know I have bought the SH issue and it is the first time I have bought WD for over 3 years.

Holy Terra! I have two Space Hulk sets in my position and Wow!

I am impressed overall with the contents. The cost is ok as the local store gave me 15% off.

I love the tiles as now I don't have to glue them to foamcore. LOL.

I still need to read the rules so I can't speak but I am sure what you other guys have noted is correct on them.

I can't wait to play a game.

There are few things that make me think this wouldn't be expanded in any way.The main reason is that not anyone will have acces to it - becouse it's a limited realease and so there's no sense of supporting it, especially in White Dwarf. Also the game is very "fluffy" - all the termis have their names, background and stuff. Even corridor sections have their purpose in certain missions and they're just incompatible with other campaings. GW have a lot of stuff "lying" around like the Gorkamorka digganob expansion which should be among SG PDF's or a lot of missing minis from SG ranges. I doubt they will just give us the 1st.ed rules becouse they have changed them at least a bit, so they would have to rewrite them in some way. Or at least upgrade them in a graphic way becouse they are really old and not in style of GW's latest publications.
Ps. anybody else have problems with Space Hulk "time measuring device" . Mine sometimes jams and I timed it. It's never the same - always beetween 3:30 and 4.00

My daughter took the sand meauring device so I have not had an opportunity to check it out. LOL

My sand timer is weird. Going one way, it times about 3m30s. Going back the other way, it times about 3m10s. Flip it again, and it's back to 3m30 again. And so on. It seems to matter which way the sand is flowing as to how long it takes.

I finally got to test mine and it doesn't work right. I worked good for about 3 minutes but then get blocked and if you have to shake it.

And make White Dwarf® useful? Nah. I don't think GW will release any supplements seeing as the game was limited, and I don't imagine EVERYONE buying the expansions (even though they should), therefore they can't make the same number of expansions as copies of SH, nor can they make less.

I just hope they give the rights to Fantasy Flight, and let them do stuff with it a la 40K Roleplay.
