Will paint for competition, just one unit, painted and based, correct?

If mine don‘t take too long getting here, I‘m certainly up for it. Good excuse to try out the new light box
Everything is better with lizardmen.

In a unit of pike men, in what "rank" should the standard bearer be?  In the back, middle, or front?

Thanks,
Adrian

I'm going with middle, straight after the lowered pikes. I always prefer command groups front and centre (habit from Warhammer), but with the lowered pikes middle is the next best thing IMO (and lowered pikes look better en masse, not with a command group interrupting them).

Sorry, I forgot to take in progress pictures and I didn't have time to base them, so I'm out. I'll post pictures later.

I won't have time to sit down and start the voting polls until the 5th, most likely, so feel free to enter before then.

Can I vote for myself?  ;D

Edit: I've been honest and voted for what I think is the best. Sadly it ain't my attempt  :'(

May the best man win!
