I really thought these rumors were going to turn out to be BS but I was wrong. Handy for those that wanted it the first time around but missed it. Comes with some new missions in this version.

Yeah new missions and a handful of new tiles!

Also, they released 3 new iPad exclusive mission packs, one for Ultramarines, Dark Angels and Space Wolves. All include rules for special kit as well such as Plasma Cannons / Frost Axes.

And all cost £9.99 each =-(((((((((

Yeah, not enough to make me buy it again. Maybe I'll try getting the tiles on eBay for cheap. After all it's the models people go nuts for.

Likewise, its the floor tiles that I am most interested in. I have the 3rd ed rule book, and I prefer the main release multi-pose minis to the included static pose ones anyway. Still, tempting for that price, but I missed it anyway. Now to watch it appear on eBay before even release at 3x the retail cost. I guess my local store may geta few in though.

Anyone know how long the pre-order actually lasted until it sold out?

It's weird, I heard accounts of some brick and mortar stores having stock for months afterward - so don't lose hope for finding it at proper retail price!

A local store here has it up for pre-order at about 85GBP, which after shipping to me over here is a pretty good price. But, I still probably wont. I already have 3rd ed and I have other things to spend that amount of cash on... like Dropzone Commander.

Because a 'this will never be repeated' limited edition was repeated and not so limited? This is GW. Nobody should believe them when they ever say anything like 'limited'. I have a load of the old 'limited edition' Emp Champions for 40K.

The same thing happened in the UK a while back. A small batch had been found in Europe and were being sent back to central GW warehouse to be made available. I am.... sceptical.... but whatever.

lol.  the e-mail said they found a batch in the UK and were sending it over.  I bet Europe got an e-mail saying they found some from across the pond and were send it over.
