Not sure if you guys are aware, but I commissioned some models. There may have been a Kickstarter involved. Anyway, here's my progress on the
Warmonger Miniatures
studio Landsknechte after two quick sessions. I've done the skin at this point. I'm going to paint up the hair/beards and then see if it needs anymore work.

You commissioned some models? When did this happen?

Over the summer. Also, all your models accidently ended up in the dumpster.

It took a really long time, but I got around to taking some photos of these two units.
They're now up here!

It took long indeed. Nice work. The painted miniatures really enhance the store page. I think you should paint the others too.

Is the dragon on the banner a transfer from the Veni Vidi Vici series?

Nope, I made it myself. Bonus points for whoever identifies it and the colors behind it. I have another three design printed, along the same theme: black/white eagle, red/blue wyvern, blue/yellow lion.

Oh cool, is it printed from a deskjet or a laser printer? I'd have to go googling to find the answer to that I think!

I'm pretty sure these were a laser jet, on the white decal paper.

Every day's a school day. I never knew decal paper existed, much less stuff that would go through a laser. Time to treat myself to a laser printer?

The toner price is the killer for them. I use the one at work.

I intend to retire in a year or two, so will doubtless need to buy a printer at that point. Colour lasers are tumbling in price, so maybe Santa might be persuaded?

Ya, just compare toner prices. They're the killer. Thr other option is a print shop. You can pack a lot of a letter/a4 sheet. And it won't cost more than a $1/gpb per sheet.
