Greetings!
Here are some pictures of units which are already painted or almost finished. I apologise for poor quality of pictures. I will replace them as soon as I manage to take better ones. I think that yellow background colour comes from the use of not so strong lamps. I believe that when I try to take these pictures in day light they might be much better.

Army so far

I chose gold and blue as main colours. Even armour is silver-blue. The inspiration comes from the cover of old army book for Warhammer High Elves (4th edition I guess). The sign at shields and standards, according to some guide for elven rules, is associated with elven kingdom of Saphery - where the greatest elven mages can be found. It is also a place where White Tower, home to Swordmasters

is. Somehow I always liked to add some background to the armies I was building, even if a little childish it helped me to focus better and come up with some new ideas.
At the moment I am painting Phoenix Guard. Maybe not exactly matching the theme of Saphery, but I like the models. Gamewise it helps to distinguish between different units much easier.
I would appreciate any comments to the pictures, despite their poor quality. I find painting 10 mm miniatures very challenging, as I have to use completely different techniques I learned to succecfully paint their bigger cousins.
Cheers!
